Revisions Design Studio is the product design team of Michele Dugree, Janna Fox, and Torrey Dupras of Marquette, Michigan.

Revisions was created as a way of bringing together designers from differing technical backgrounds in order to collaborate in a multi-disiplinary way. This unique setup creates an environment in which limited production design is brought to market through inhouse prototyping and fabrication.

Our objective is to create everyday pieces of functional art. Each of our designs are handcrafted in limited production batches in-house by us! We love being able to take a break from our desks to get our hands dirty!

Michele Dugree, Owner/Designer

Michele received her BFA from Northern Michigan University's School of Art and Design in the spring of 2006.  With her main concentration in ceramics, Michele gained the necessary experience to work with a myriad of different materials such as polymers, glass, metals, and electronics.

Michele's portfolio includes several unique domestic products, commercial and residential designs, along with bespoke installations of functional/sculptural pieces.  Michele also enjoys collaborating and problem solving the designs of her other talented team members.  She takes a heavy role in the manufactoring and marketing processes of all Revisions' products.

Janna_Profile

Janna Fox, Designer

Janna Fox joined the RDS team as a full-time designer in the spring of 2010.  She earned her BFA from Northern Michigan University's School of Art and Design.  With her main concentration in Human Centered Design, Janna brings an assortment of innovative techniques as well as high-tech skill sets to the RDS team.  

Janna's specialties include the use of CAD on 3D CNC as well as 2D laster cutting for Revisions' products and prototypes.  Janna is also responsible for managing RDS inventory, shipping/receiving, and many other responsibilities in which the studio could not function without.

Torrey_Profile

Torrey Dupras, IT/Web Designer

Torrey Dupras received his BS from Northern Michigan Univeristy in the spring of 2009 in both physics and mathematics as well as a Certification in Secondary Education in 2011. As one of the co-founders of Revisions Design Studio, it is Torrey's main priority to keep all of it running smoothly. Whether it's web or product design, Torrey provides a variety of solutions to the technical challenges the studio experiences on a regular basis.

Torrey's main interests are in web design, mathematics, and sailing. He is usually on the hunt for the perfect day to go out on Lake Superior or in pursuit for the perfect cup of coffee.

Nicole Morris, Design Intern

Nicole Morris will be receiving her BFA from Northern Michigan University’s School of Art and Design with a concentration in Human Centered Design in the fall of 2011. As a senior at Northern Michigan, she and 16 other students were selected to exhibit their work in Salone Satellite; Milan, Italy.

Her main focus in design is to bring the utmost potential to all products through a method of chaotic precision. As a designer, she enjoys taking simple forms and correlating various stylistic elements within, creating a delicate distraction. Nicole looks forward to being a part of the Revisions Design Studio team and is thrilled for this new chapter in her life.

Laurel Mills, Design Intern

Laurel Mills will be receiving her BFA from Northern Michigan University’s School of Art and Design with a concentration in Metals in the winter of 2012. Her interest in art began at an early age with a mother and father who encouraged her to take art classes while raising her in an environment rich in art media.

Laurel has worked to expose herself to many different forms of art by taking a range of classes. She has great appreciation and understanding in the fields of ceramics, metals, sculpture, painting, and photography making her an invaluable asset to Revisions Design Studio.
